Substance Use and Addiction

Substance Use and Addiction

At Sujjivah Center for Mental Health, we offer specialized care for individuals struggling with Substance Use and Addiction, including Alcohol Dependence, Drug Addiction, and Behavioral Addictions. Addiction is a complex condition that affects not only the individual but also their family and community. Our goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment to help individuals break free from addiction, achieve long-term recovery, and rebuild their lives.

Alcohol Dependence

Alcohol dependence, or alcoholism, is characterized by a strong craving for alcohol, loss of control over drinking, and withdrawal symptoms. Our treatment program combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), counseling, group therapy, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to help individuals reduce alcohol consumption, manage cravings, and develop healthier coping mechanisms.

Drug Addiction

Drug addiction involves a physical and psychological dependence on substances such as prescription medications, illicit drugs, or recreational substances. At Sujjivah, we offer detoxification services, followed by individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling. Our approach aims to address the root causes of addiction, promote abstinence, and support individuals in their recovery journey.

Behavioral Addictions

Behavioral addictions, such as gambling, sex, or internet addiction, are characterized by compulsive behaviors that can disrupt daily life. We provide CBT, mindfulness-based interventions, and supportive therapies to help individuals regain control over their behaviors and create a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Our holistic treatment plan addresses both the physical and emotional aspects of addiction, offering personalized care that empowers individuals to achieve lasting recovery and rebuild their lives.
