Psychotic Disorders

Psychotic Disorders---01

At Sujjivah Center for Mental Health, we offer comprehensive care for Psychotic Disorders, including Schizophrenia, Schizoaffective Disorder, and Delusional Disorders. These conditions involve distorted thinking, perception, and behavior that can severely impact an individual’s ability to function in daily life. Our goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based treatment to help individuals manage symptoms, regain stability, and improve their quality of life.

Schizophrenia

Schizophrenia is a chronic mental health disorder characterized by symptoms such as hallucinations, delusions, disorganized thinking, and cognitive difficulties. At Sujjivah, we provide a multidisciplinary approach to treatment, including medication management, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and psychosocial interventions. Our aim is to help individuals manage their symptoms, reduce the risk of relapse, and improve overall functioning.

Schizoaffective Disorder

Schizoaffective Disorder combines features of both schizophrenia and mood disorders (e.g., depression or bipolar disorder). Individuals may experience psychotic symptoms along with mood swings, making treatment complex. Our team at Sujjivah focuses on providing a tailored treatment plan that addresses both the psychotic and mood components, utilizing medication, therapy, and psychoeducation to foster long-term stability and emotional well-being.

Delusional Disorders

Delusional Disorder involves fixed, false beliefs that are not based in reality, such as beliefs of persecution or grandeur. Although the individual’s thinking is impaired, they often maintain normal functioning in other areas of life. We offer a combination of psychotherapy and medications to help manage delusions, improve insight, and support overall mental health.

At Sujjivah, we prioritize a holistic, integrated approach to treatment that supports recovery and enhances the overall well-being of individuals with psychotic disorders. Our compassionate team ensures that each person receives the care they deserve.
